The Beekeepers Guild of Southeast Virginia and the Wesleyan Beekeepers Association present a three day Short Course for Beginning Beekeepers. The course will be held on three consecutive Saturday mornings, February 20, 27, and March 06, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia. The course consists of lectures and hands-on demonstrations.

Third Saturday, March 06, 2010 Cost: $25 includes MAAREC Publication Beekeeping Basics, refreshments each day and a four-month Guild membership from March 1, 2010 to June 30, 2010.

Directions: The short course will be held in the Science Auditorium of Blocker Hall on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon entering the campus, stop at the guardhouse and tell the guards that you are attending the Beekeeping Course. Drive past the guardhouse, take a right and then your second right to park in the Blocker Hall parking lot. Follow the signs into the building for registration in the atrium.
