Welcome to the Beekeepers Guild of Southeast Virginia (BGSV). We meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in Towne Hall, a wing of Towne Bank located at 137 Mt. Pleasant Rd.,Chesapeake, VA  23322.   The public is invited to join us for socializing and the meeting. Our next meeting will be January 13th 2025. 

December is the the Guild's month for celebrating the holidays; therefore, will not be having a December member's meeting. 

BGSV Meetings

The Beekeepers' Guild of Southeast Virginia meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in Towne Hall, a wing of Towne Bank located at 137 Mount Pleasant Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. (click here for directions).  Additionally, our meetings can be attended virtually via Zoom application/website; please check our home page for current link to access the meeting. 

Meetings are very informal, lasting 1½ to 2 hours. They consist of an educational program followed by a business meeting; both are open to the public. Our members hail from the Eastern Shore to Emporia, Moyock to Williamsburg. They are beginning beekeepers and experienced Mentor Program ready to assist anyone wishing to get started in beekeeping.

Please join us for socializing and the meeting whether you currently keep bees or not. Everybody is welcome!

BGSV Membership Information

Joining the Beekeepers' Guild is a great way to meet other people who share the same interest.  You will have the opportunity to attend an educational program each month and participate in an open forum where you may pose your beekeeping questions to a group for discussion.
