BGSV Meetings

The Beekeepers’ Guild of Southeast Virginia meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in Towne Hall, a wing of Towne Bank located at 137 Mount Pleasant Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. (click here for directions).  Additionally, our meetings can be attended virtually via Zoom application/website; please check our home page for current link to access the meeting.

Meetings are very informal, lasting 1½ to 2 hours. They consist of an educational program followed by a business meeting; both are open to the public. Our members hail from the Eastern Shore to Emporia, Moyock to Williamsburg consisting of beginners to more experienced beekeepers; making discussions a learning event in itself. The Guild sponsors a Mentor Program that is ready to assist anyone wishing to get started in beekeeping.

Please join us for our educational topic and socializing about beekeeping whether you currently keeping bees or not. Everybody is welcome!
